All updates have been completed:
-Formatted multi-file entry in debian/copyright onto separate lines.
-Updated Vcs-Browser and Vcs-Git in debian/control to Salsa.
-Configured debian/salsa-ci.yml in Salsa CI/CD settings (pipeline is running clean).
-Removed all packaging branches other than master from GitHub.

The updated release can be found in Upload#5.

My Salsa account is active and the repository is live with all branches (master, upstream, pristine-tar) and tags:

Master is set as the default branch.
I have also implemented the following:
Trimmed debian/changelog to a single entry.
Removed debian/gbp.conf.
Added Bug-Submit to debian/upstream/metadata.
Sorted files in debian/copyright.

Thanks for the update and feedback!

I have implemented the following based your feedback:
- Re-structured the repo for git-buildpackage using master, upstream, and pristine-tar branches.
- Built and signed the source package using gbp buildpackage.
- Added debian/upstream/metadata and debian/salsa-ci.yml.
- Cleaned up trailing whitespaces.
- Fixed the LGPL-2.1 text as you mentioned
The updated build (Upload #3) is active on Mentors. 

My Salsa account request is currently pending. As per the Salsa FAQ, I'll wait a few days for approval. As soon as my access goes live, I will push all branches/tags and trigger the Salsa CI pipeline!

Thank you for the review! I have uploaded a updated source package (1.0-1) addressing all of your points:

1. Package Format & Versioning: Converted from native to 3.0 (quilt) versioned as 1.0-1 in debian/changelog.
2. Standards Version: Updated Standards-Version to 4.7.4 in debian/control.
3. Debhelper: Switched to debhelper-compat (= 14) and added dh-sequence-single-binary to Build-Depends.
4. Watch File: Created debian/watch using Version 5 format tracking GitHub release tags (verified locally with uscan).
5. Salsa Repository: Registered an account on salsa.debian.org (currently pending manual admin approval for new accounts). As soon as it is approved, I will set up the debian/sid branch and add the Vcs-* headers to debian/control.

The signed 1.0-1 source package is now available on Mentors under Upload #2.
