  1. Hi Damian,

    Thanks for the review. All four points are now addressed:

    1. debian/watch — rewritten to version 5 format (RFC822-style, "Version: 5",
       using the GitHub API matching-refs endpoint with @ANY_VERSION@).
    2. debhelper-compat 14 — debian/control now has
       "Build-Depends: debhelper-compat (= 14)".
    3. MIT → Expat — debian/copyright now declares the Expat short name per DEP-5
       (GPL-2.0-or-later for the daemon, Expat for the client library).
    4. changelog — collapsed to a single "0.2.2-1" entry.

    I rebuilt the source package (debuild -S -sa) and re-uploaded; the latest
    upload (#3) now shows Expat, and the .orig.tar.gz matches the upstream v0.2.2
    release asset (sha256 52808077...). Lintian shows no new warnings.

    Please take another look when you get a chance. Thanks!

Changelog

 taskhealth (0.2.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream release 0.2.2.
     - Harden daemon IPC with SO_PEERCRED anti-spoofing checks.
     - Allow non-root clients to connect: relax the Unix socket mode and
       drop the same-uid accept gate.
     - Fix lock-wait timeout detection to fire independently of the
       heartbeat gap.
     - Fix a use-after-free in the demo mutex teardown path.
   * Package the integration and daemon test suites and run them via
     dh_auto_test.
   * Add debian/watch, debian/upstream/metadata, and a library symbols file.
   * Enable full build hardening (bindnow) and harden the systemd unit.
   * Clarify license coverage in debian/copyright.
   * Bump Standards-Version to 4.7.4.1 and add per-package sections.
   * Initial upload to Debian. (Closes: #1148419)

  1. Hi. I have a few points to address:

    [d/changelog]: An initial upload to the Debian archives should have one entry along with a one-line changelog. Mostly, that line is: * Initial release. (Closes: #XXXXXX)

    [d/watch]: For new packages, it's recommended to use the Version 5 watch file format. (See: https://manpages.debian.org/experimental/devscripts/debian-watch.5)

    [d/control]: I would highly recommend using debhelper-compat 14 to keep the package future-proof.

    [d/copyright]: In Debian, the "MIT" license string is not used. Please replace all references of "MIT" to "Expat".
