Adopting this package since its been orphaned for quite a while now. 
This upload changes:
 - Adds New maintainer
 - Fixes / tidies up the package and various lintian warnings
 - Upgrades to the latest Standards-version
 - Upgrades copyright and patches to DEP5 and DEP3 formats

NB There is no formal upstream for this package anymore.
