  2. Hello Gayathri,

    I took a look at s390-tools version 2.35.0-1.1 you uploaded to
    mentors.debian.net. Some low-hanging fruit I found is:

     * Version seems odd. If you are doing NMU with new upstream version
       the version number should be `2.35.0-0.1`

     * You have redundant entries in debian changelog.
       ========
       - Non-maintainer upload
       - New upstream release.
       ========
       Only these two entries is enough. And you need to specify
       non-maintainer upload as first entry.

     * Standards-Version: 3.8.3 . We usually mention the latest version of
       Debian policy in Standards-Version: field in debian/control (of
       course if it aligns). The latest version of policy is 4.7.0.
       https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/

     * The value given in homepage field in debian/control is not pointing
       to exactly to this specific project. Given link is redirecting some
       other web page.

     * The d/copyright should be in a format that is machine readable.

    At the moment, I don't have access to this arch to build and check the
    binaries. Once I setup, I will let you know more things to correct, if
    there is any.

    Thanks for the response, yeah I am working on it.

    Are you running through lintain to verify the checks?

    Thanks,
    Gayathri.

  4. Hi,
    I didn't know about #1088275. Will post the future replies there.
    I haven't run lintian myself. I relied on mentors' lintian and I went through the debian/ files.
