  1. For a reviewing sponsor, I can share some additional details.

    - In the corresponding repository on salsa (https://salsa.debian.org/nbehrnd/ruby-mdl), branches follow the name scheme as seen in packages maintained by the the Ruby Debian Team. This equally should allow the Team's `d/salsa-ci.yml` to run and complete -- which did for 0.15.0-2 (https://salsa.debian.org/nbehrnd/ruby-mdl/-/pipelines/1105948 by June 10, 2026) for each of the checks they defined.

    - Today, `d/salsa-ci.yml` however fails on the version corresponding to upload 2 (timestamp here: 2026-06-13 16:21) on the part of lintian (https://salsa.debian.org/nbehrnd/ruby-mdl/-/pipelines/1108096). So far, I fail to identify the reason. Both the instance on salsa as well as my local instance run the tests with Lintian v2.136.2; on salsa the check failed, on my local instance the notes are either at level "info", or "pedantic" -- however not "error".

    - Previously standards 4.7.2 the package now corresponds to 4.7.4 based on the check list (https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/upgrading-checklist.html)

    a) 4.7.2 to 4.7.3: a) the priority information was dropped. b) Regarding the git-tagger-information, I think this does not apply to me because I packaged with `dpkg-buildpackage`, and did not use tag2upload.

    b) 4.7.3 to 4.7.4: a) regarding .so files: because `ruby-mdl` does not contain, .so files, the condition does not appear applicable here. b) about section 12.5: I think it is not applicable because `ruby-mdl` already is assigned to the free part of Debian (https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/r/ruby-mdl/) and the project continues to run under MIT license alone.

    - It may be necessary to await clearance of `ruby-chef-utils` which blocks `ruby-mixlib-shellout`, the later an explicit dependency declared by `ruby-mdl`.

    Thank you
