  2. I am definitely going to need help on this one - I managed to get the errors sorted, but the warning have exploded, the more I try to fix the more warnings there are.
    
    We have a new release v0.9.8 up for vote that fixes some of the issues.
    
    The originally debmake -x1 that kicked off all of this produces lots of obsolete boilerplate, like a watch at version=3 instead of version=4, no licensing on any of the debian files, etc.
    
    Happy to do all of this from scratch if you can confirm if there is a 2025 vintage set of instructions or tools to work from?
