3. Hi!  I pushed the branches to the go-team repository, but you have no tags in your repository - can you push those?
   
   I granted you read/write access to the go-team part, so you can push directly if you want:

   Also CC0-1.0 is in /usr/share/common-licenses/CC0-1.0 so you should include the normal quote to refer to that file.
   
   Use a watch v5
   
   Drop priority:optional and rules-requires-root.
   
   Trim the Description: lines in debian/control to only include only relevant information, not entire README
   
   Use `execute_after_dh_auto_install` instead of `override_dh_auto_install` that calls dh_auto_install.

   I've also added tags from the main Github repository, renamed the main branch to upstream, and added the debian/1.0.1-1 and upstream/1.0.1 tags to the repository in the go-team space.

5. Looks better, thanks!  I installed a small tweak related to dh_auto_install.
   
   Maybe the testdata/ sub-directory should even be removed by debian/copyright Files-Excluded... but I could defer that to the DFSG Team review.
   
   I looked at debian/vopyright now.  You need to add the public domain authors too.

   The files in testdata looks really problematic upon a closer look.  Could you drop them via debian/copyright Files-Excluded instead?  Then you will learn that mechanism too.  And ignore self-tests, which require the files, by doing something like:
   
   overrid_dh_auto_test:
    -dh_auto_test $(DH_BUILD_OPTS)

9. I tried several times to pass gitlab tests on Salsa without testdata. 
   
   I created the upstream/1.0.1+dfsg tag, which lacks the testdata folder, and changed the version in the changelog to 1.0.1+dfsg-1 in the debian/sid branch. 
   
   However, attempts to pass gitlab tests failed for some reason.
