  1. There is a file named composefs-docs.docs pointing to README.source,
README.Debian, COPYING, but it is not referenced anywhere.  It would need a
-doc package to be created in debian/control if you wanted to ship those files
as documentation. I do not see a potential source for such a doc package.
README.source is not to be included in binary packages, and README.Debian goes
into the first listed binary package by itself (in your case it would be
bin:composefs).  That being said, those files README.source, README.Debian are
not existing in the debian directory of this package.

To improve readability, I would suggest to list the dependencies
alphabetically, that is especially useful when there is many dependencies.
Running wrap-and-sort would help there.  Maybe you want to think about using
capitalized descriptions in the debian/control file.

You do not need to use both Maintainers and Uploaders field for the same
person. So have your name under Maintainers only.  Lintian notes this with tag:
maintainer-also-in-uploaders, but since you used different emails in the fields
(i guess to silence that lintian info), lintian is not noting that.  If you
intend to have the package maintained through a team, then have the team's name
there, and yours under Uploaders.

There are no autopkgtests for this package. You may consider adding them. You
already added a salsa-ci control file, so the tests would get triggered on
Salsa automatically.

I went through the packages, built and installed them without visible issues.
I went through the generated .deb files and everything is fine.  Apart from the
minor comments above, overall the package is in a good state, nothing major to
note.

An option "uploaded outcome" has to be selected in this site, so I will select 
Ready since it works, but it can get some small improvements as noted above.
