  2. Hi,

Thanks for your comment. According to clause 5.3 "Structure of a Source Package" in "The Debian Administrator's Handbook", the source package consists of three parts: "a .dsc, a .orig.tar.gz, and a .debian.tar.xz (or .diff.gz)". They are already available in mentors.d.n.

Where could I upload them additionally?

  3. You have to add a Debian revision to the upstream version: 0.5.0-1
Needs work Bastian Germann at Aug. 30, 2023, 12:08 p.m.
  4. Also, please target unstable or experimental, not testing.
    Bastian Germann at Aug. 30, 2023, 12:08 p.m.
  5. I assumed that dput -f mentors linux-firewire-utils_0.5.0-1_source.changes
cancel current "lintian failed to run:" situation.
    Does not work?

OK. I use package version `0.5.0-1` and unstable target next time to upload.
