  1. I did a quick "grep copyright -ri" through the source and noticed some copyright lines not mentioned in debian/copyright like:

     * Copyright (C) 2017-2018 [RnD]²
     * Copyright (C) 1995-1997, 2000-2007, 2009-2010 by Ulrich Drepper <drepper@gnu.ai.mit.edu>
     * git.mk:# Copyright 2009, Red Hat, Inc.
     * git.mk:# Copyright 2010,2011,2012,2013 Behdad Esfahbod

    The copyright entries must be fixed before I can upload.

    I notice your Vcs fields are commented out, which isn't critical, but perhaps we should get that fixed too. Do you have a guest account on salsa.debian.org yet? I couldn't find you there. You can sign up for a guest account at https://signup.salsa.debian.org/

  2. Uploaded the repo to salsa.
    Updated the copyright information.
    Kept debhelper to version 12, as Debian 9 is at version 10 (12 is in debian-backports).

  3. I made an account on salsa.debian.org. Should I upload the debian repo there and update the Vcs fields to point there?

    Also, I noticed that by using debhelper-compat (even =11) the package won't build for Debian 9, as debhelper-compat is missing. Would it be better to use debhelper>=10.xx and debian/compat == 11.
