§9 Map statistics

This section describes the map statistics report.

Map Statistics... on the Tools menu opens a Map Statistics report. It counts the map's rooms and connections and related figures, including:

• # of Rooms, # of Dark Rooms, and # of Unconnected Rooms;
• the Start room;
• # of Connections, broken down by label, direction, and line style;
• Total # Rooms with Objects, Total # of Rooms with subtitles, and Total # of Rooms with descriptions.

The same report can be printed without opening the editor, with the --stats command-line option; see §12 (Command-line usage).
