This section describes the selection commands, including the
Select submenu of the Edit menu.
Click a room or connection to select it, replacing any previous
selection. Hold Ctrl and click to add an
item to the selection, or remove it again. Dragging a box across
the empty canvas selects everything inside it; hold Shift or Ctrl while dragging
the box to add the enclosed items to the current selection instead
of replacing it. Select All (Ctrl+A) selects everything, and Select None (Esc) clears the
selection. Pressing 0 selects the start
room, and Enter opens the selected
element's properties (see §13).
Find Room... (Ctrl+F) locates a room by name, then selects it and
centers the view on it.
The Select submenu lets you select rooms
or connections that share a property. For rooms: Unconnected Rooms, Rooms With
Objects, Rooms Without Objects, and
Rooms in Selected Regions (Ctrl+Shift+A), which widens the selection to every
room in the same region as any room already selected. For
connections: All Connections, Dangling Connections, and Self-Looping
Connections.
