# Compat 13, not 14: 14 is current in unstable but stable ships debhelper 13,
# and keeping 13 means the package also builds on stable and in Ubuntu PPAs.
# lintian --pedantic on sid flags this as a style preference only.

Description: simple auto-generated maze game for the terminal
maze generates a perfect maze, draws it with box-drawing characters and
lets you walk a player from the top-left corner to the exit with the arrow
keys or WASD. Boards start small and grow by one cell in each direction for
 every level cleared.
 .
It uses a recursive backtracker, so there is exactly one route to the exit,
which is always reachable. Fog of war, a hint path and a status line with
moves, elapsed time, best run and a compass to the exit are built in.
 .
The game is a single bash script requiring only bash, stty and optionally
tput. It restores the terminal settings before exiting, including after a
 signal.
