Some minor things:
In the copyright for debian/* You label it GPL-3, though the license text is for GPL-2+

I think you need the &quot;Copyright:&quot; field even in the case of &quot;public-domain&quot;, since PD isn't valid everywhere, one needs to fall back on some form of copyright declaration:
